Exzolt - 2.4ml - Treatment for 12 Chickens - Mite and Lice Treatment - No Egg Withholding

Exzolt™ kills red mite and lice from the inside out. It works through the bird's system, so parasites die when they bite. No sprays, no dusting.

What it treats

• Red mite: breaks the breeding cycle
• Lice: systemic control of common poultry lice
• Also works well on scaly leg mite and northern fowl mite

Eggs & meat

• Eggs: no withholding. Keep eating them during and after treatment.
• Meat: 14-day withholding

When to use it

• Only when your girls actually have mites or lice. It's not a routine treatment.
• Don't treat for mites in the same week you worm.
• Treat the whole flock together.

Dose

• 0.1 mL per bird (0.05 mL per kg; a Hy-Line is about 2 kg)
• Two doses, 7 days apart (Day 1 and Day 8)
• One 2.4 mL syringe treats 12 chickens for both doses

How to give it: the bread method (best for under 50 birds)

1. Cut a slice of bread into small squares, one per bird.
2. Using the syringe, drop 0.1 mL onto each square.
3. Hand-feed one square to each bird, so every bird gets her full dose.
4. Repeat on Day 8.

Flocks of 50+: the water method

1. Measure 25 mL of water per bird.
2. Mix the whole flock's dose into it.
3. Remove all other water until the treated water is gone, then put normal water back.
4. Repeat on Day 8.

Tips

• On Day 2, clean out the coop, nest boxes and perches.
• Watch your girls afterwards. Treat again only if mites or lice come back.

Storage

• Keep the syringe somewhere cool and dark.
• Best used within 12–18 months.
• Don't use it if the liquid has gone cloudy, crystallised or changed colour.

Always read the label. If you're unsure, ring your vet.
