Welcome to Baywide Chickens. We're a small family chicken farm based at Rangiuru, about 5 minutes from Te Puke township in the Bay of Plenty, dedicated to supplying New Zealand with exceptional Hy-Line Brown pullets — raised with care so they become productive, reliable layers for your flock.

Ready-to-lay, commercial-quality, guaranteed hens

Our Hy-Line Brown pullets are point-of-lay and approaching or already at the start of lay, so you get vigorous, high-performing layers right away. We pride ourselves on raising happy, healthy birds in a clean, safe environment with high-quality feed and plenty of space. Every bird is carefully selected for strong genetics, so you can be confident in her egg-laying ability.

Guaranteed hens, never roosters — every chick is colour-sexed at day-old, so you can order with total peace of mind.
